From a young age, financial markets were part of my life. I was born in Oxford, into a family where economics and investments were everyday topics. My father, an economics professor at St Catherine’s College, later became a stockbroker, allowing me to grow up in an environment where markets were more than numbers: they were strategies, analysis, and opportunities.
At 18, I started investing in the stock market, which led me to develop an analytical and strategic view of the financial world. I studied Law and Psychology at the University of Sydney, a combination that has allowed me to understand both the legal structure of investments and the behavior of markets and decision-making under pressure.
My professional career began in the legal field, working as a lawyer at Baker & McKenzie and Clayton Utz. Later, I entered the world of investment banking at Lloyds Corporate Advisory Services, where I gained a deep understanding of global markets and financing strategies.
In 1994, I joined Lehman Brothers in Chile, where I played a key role in introducing offshore private banking to the country, laying the foundation for the development of this market. With the vision of offering an independent and personalized approach to wealth management, in 1998 I founded Global Advisors Management Limited and in 2019 launched Global Alpha Advisors, thus consolidating over 30 years of experience in Private Banking in Chile and international markets.
Throughout my career, I have advised clients on global investment strategies, risk management, and portfolio optimization, with a focus on preserving and growing capital in a constantly evolving financial environment.
